If you are looking for the perfect coach to help you reach your goals, you are in the right place! Here is a list of pro tips to help you find your best match:
- Personality: Some coaches are relaxed, others are more vigorous, and some are both! Consider what personality styles work best for you or your child for maximum learning.
- Experience: Look for a coach who has achieved your goals; for example, if you want to play DI athletics, look for a coach who played at that level. Then, not only will the coach be able to provide lessons on the technical aspect of the game, but can also give insight into the recruiting process, work-study balance, and more.
- Reviews: Our coaches have reviews from CoachUp athletes and/or parents about their experience. Their insights about a coach’s session and personality can help you decide if they are a good fit for your training.
- Budget: Coaches set their own prices - keep in mind that oftentimes they are willing to provide discounts to new clients! Just because a coach charges more, does not mean they are more qualified than others - so find a coach whose credentials fit you best and stay in your budget!
If the coach profile does not answer all of your questions, simply click "Message Coach" to communicate directly with the coach regarding any outstanding questions.
Feeling comfortable with the coach you choose is essential to building a long term relationship that is grounded in trust. If, for some reason, you aren’t 100% satisfied with your coach, our CoachUp Support team will be happy to work with you to match you with another coach who is a better fit. Any remaining sessions that you previously paid for can easily be transferred to a new coach so your investment in training is protected.
